Rottnest Island.. 30th April 2013

Rottness Island was an awesome experience and we would recommend it to anyone that visits Perth! Even on the Ferry over there you see so much! So many things to see and do.. It would have been cool to have stayed the night so we could have seen and done more.. But onto the photos...

Was an early but good start.. The day looked like it was going to turn stormy.. when actually it was the opposite.. 29Deg!

These things.. EVERYWHERE you go.. So f-ing annoying!!

Quokkas are now one of my fav animals.. look at this cute thing!

 Are you ready for this??!! We biked about 12km today.. yeah i know.. Palatchies on bikes, big cliche right!! But 12km is a lot for us! I bet Scott doesn't even know how long its been since hes been on a bike!

A Wee ticky tour...

Friday 26th Of April we decided we would turn the GPS off and drive the coast to see where we ended up and what we could find!

 

Starting with a visit to the beach..

There are some AMAZING houses along the beach front.. They would see some awesome sunsets!

 

<< This house... in that square box out the front has a pool in it.. These people have some serious money!!

Further on we came through Scarborough.. BEAUTIFUL! these photos do the place no justice! The beach is gorgeous.. we will definitely be back for some fun and photos in the near future..

We stopped at a beach front bar on our way home for a cold beer..mmm...

FREMANTLE

Fremantle is beautiful! There are so many beautiful old buildings here and all of the big ships.. Im hoping to explore this place alot more also.. Its a bugger with the school holidays upon us.. places are just sooo busy!!
However.. This week we are hoping to get to the old Fremantle Prison for a bit of sight seeing!

We ventured down to the Harbour, We came across this cool looking ferris wheel..

Who knows we may even go on this one day!!

to look up and see this almost bought a tear to my eye.. How Sweet!!

A beautiful city we have moved to and so many more things to see.. Cant wait!!

Our First Home..

But there is our new duvet cover.. our own bed should be here next week! Yay!

The ensuite off our room.. the shower is pretty darn good.. But it certainly has its disadvantages after Scott is finished in the toilet!!!

The kitchen is the door off to the right in the bottom picture and the next door over is the hall way to our room.

Our Kitchen is also huge.. which is great! Ants are everywhere though! 

 

Downstairs "MANCAVE" As you can see contains a pool table, TV, Bar, Wine rack, Fridge with That lovely picture attached, a sofa and an outdoor area. It also includes all of the boys rooms (Dungeons)

Plus other things like the wash house.. The boys dont claim this as part of their mancave though!!

Out the back is the pool, Spa and Outdoor area.. Yessss a Summer here would be nice if we dont move before then.. There are plenty of birds and Ants out here.. and probably the other insects i dont even want to imagine! It is so weird to see parrots flying around when we are soo used to seeing them in cages and we just want to shoot the Crows! The birds are a great morning alarm.. they are so much noisier than home!

oh and the home of the ants... imagine what it would be like if we ripped up these bricks!!!

Well there is our new Aussie home.. For now!!

Anzac Day tomorrow.. it is 5:45pm... BEER TIME!!!
